South African Celebrities share their Mental Health experiences to Destigmatize mental health Challenges
The recent passing of Nellie Tembe who was a qualified chef and fiancée to rapper AKA (Kiernan Forbes) has drawn attention to the stigma on mental health. South African celebrities have openly shared their experiences and mental health challenges.
The current reigning Miss South Africa, Shudufadzo Musida has been advocating for mental health she said: “It is important for education to be prioritised in our society. To change the narrative about mental health that exists. We have a collective responsibility to destigmatize and inform how we as a society view mental health.”
